Monte Carlo Condos Ocean City

I booked 2 condos for a larger group. There were some more happy than others, some more upset, which it to be expected on a large trip with lots of opinions- however, consistently, the cleanliness was an issue across all guests.

I can’t say I was shocked, as this is not a 5 star hotel. But they could really benefit from a renovation.

It was a good spot to land inbetween beach and meals. What I will say is the location was fantastic. If you’re not living in the room, and simply need a spot to sleep or act as home-base, then yes. Go in knowing, it’s not a 5 star hotel, but it did serve its purpose.

We also had access to all of Monte Carlo boardwalk
Hotel amenities, so enjoying the roof top pool was a highlight.

I want to give Rashida 1 star. Absolute attitude. Zero customer service. Do not think hospitality is her thing! You HAVE to know how to talk to people, figure out solutions, etc., and she was unable to answer simple questions without a significant attitude problem.

We rented two rooms and requested they be next to one another so we can go on a long awaited family vacation.
Our first room stunk so bad like they just sprayed chemicals for bugs and a horrific smell of smoke it was not suitable for two infants we had with us. After arguing and being told they had nothing available they gave us another room. Now they moved one room up another flight of steps and we are no longer next to our family

A/C did not work
Refrigerator is broken so all the food we packed is now spoiled all the water bottles are now warm. We booked a place with these amenities because we needed them we paid for a place months in advance to accommodate us. Now we have none of these things and no one at this hotel cares and we still have to pay the same price
Elevator is out of service. So they have the outside stairs propped open with a rock as the key to enter is only for maintenance workers. So now we have to worry that anyone off the street can walk in the building. Zero safety! We have a few toddlers and a pregnant female walking up and down steps in 95/100 degree heat. It is a danger for a pregnant woman and toddlers having to go up flights and flights of steps.
Rooms stinks like maple syrup and or old piss we are not sure
Empty soap, empty shampoo, empty conditioner

We all would never stay here again. Do yourself a favor and find a different place because what they claim they updated is not updated. The place is a 2 star rating!

I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels over the years in Ocean City. Our first room was not even cleaned before there was dirt and grease all over the fridge. The sink had dirt and crumbs in it, the burners on the stove were filthy. There were Blinds that were broken and on the ground .There was a family above us who was loud all day and night long they ended up switching our room. Prior to switching our room, the lady at the front kept saying to please hold on while they figured things out, then she told us to pack our bags. They were moving us, when we came down, she told us that she never said that. They ended up switching our room when we spoke with somebody different. which we appreciated. The place is not well-maintained.The pool for the condos was filthy. Front desk, staff and supervisors are very rude and unprofessional. The only thing I can say is once they switched our room, it was cleaner than the first and the second room had much more room.
