Very nice little theater! Discount movies on Tuesdays. The heated recliner seats were great.

I recently experienced terrible service at this movie theater. There is an older lady who works there, and I plan to obtain her name to update my review accordingly. It was clear that this woman was not suited for customer-facing duties, as she appeared terrified when I attempted to purchase a ticket at 10:10 pm. Despite my arrival at the ticket booth, she informed me that all registers and sales were closed, citing that the movie had started 15 minutes prior. Having driven nearly an hour to visit this specific theater due to its seating, I was particularly disappointed. The lady's demeanor seemed unprofessional, and I perceived a hint of racial bias, although I strive to understand the challenges others may face. As a business owner myself, I was disgusted by her behavior. Notably, I am biracial, and her voice trembled, suggesting she may be experiencing some form of PTSD or mental health issue. When I asked if we could at least buy a bucket of popcorn she then suggested I return the next day or speak with the manager, and I apologized, noting that she appeared to be in a position of authority given her handling of the situation. I have been attempting to identify her and reach out to discuss the incident. Unfortunately, this experience was embarrassing, especially with colleagues visiting from North Carolina, and did not reflect positively on the establishment.

Asking for good service on a Tuesday afternoon feels like a foolish endeavor, but I was extremely impressed by my experience. Helpful, polite staff that had no problem assisting a tourist like myself. Theaters are well-kept given the age of the seats and whatnot. Reclining seats with a heat option and a tray table? Outstanding. Couldn’t ask for better.
